Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Melt the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, about 1 minute.
2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly until fragrant.
3. Add the shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
4. Remove skillet from heat. Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the shrimp—they turn rubbery fast.
Serve with pasta, rice, or a crusty slice of bread to soak up the sauce.
Double the garlic if you’re a true garlic lover!
