Ingredients

▢ 3–4 lb beef brisket, point or flat cut

▢ 1 large onion, sliced

▢ 4 cloves garlic, minced

▢ 1 cup beef broth

▢ 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

▢ 1 tbsp smoked paprika

▢ 2 tsp chili powder

▢ 1 tsp ground cumin

▢ 2 tbsp brown sugar

▢ 1 tsp salt

▢ ½ tsp black pepper

▢ ¾ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)


Instructions

1. Pat brisket dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, cumin, and brown sugar.

2. Place sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the Crock-Pot.

3. Lay the brisket on top of the onion-garlic base.

4. Pour beef broth and apple cider vinegar over the brisket.

5. Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours, or until fork-tender.

6. Remove the brisket and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.

7. Shred using two forks, then toss with BBQ sauce.

8. Serve warm as a main dish, in sandwiches, or on sliders.
