Ingredients
1 pound breakfast sausage
6 slices bacon
4 cups frozen hash browns
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 packet ranch dressing mix
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
3. Add chopped bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes.
4. In a large bowl, combine hash browns, cooked sausage, bacon, and cheddar cheese. Mix well.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, ranch dressing mix, salt, and pepper.
6. Pour egg mixture over the hash brown mixture and stir to coat evenly.
7. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread the casserole mixture evenly.
8. Bake for 45 minutes until the top is golden and slightly bubbly.
9. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use sharp cheddar for a stronger cheesy flavor.
This casserole can be assembled the night before and baked fresh in the morning.
Serve with hot sauce or chopped green onions for extra kick.
