Crack Burgers: The Juiciest, Most Addictive Burger You’ll Ever Make

  • Author: Nova
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Juicy, cheesy, and loaded with bacon, these Crack Burgers are the ultimate comfort food for any burger lover.

Ingredients

Scale

1 ½ lbs ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

4 brioche burger buns, split

4 leaves romaine lettuce

4 slices tomato

4 slices red onion

½ cup burger sauce (or Thousand Island dressing)

Butter, for toasting buns

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and crumble when cool.

2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ranch seasoning, shredded cheddar, and crumbled bacon. Mix gently until combined.

3. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, slightly larger than the burger buns to account for shrinkage during cooking.

4. Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Lightly season patties with salt and pepper.

5. Cook patties for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

6. In the last minute of cooking, butter the cut sides of the buns and toast them on the grill or skillet until golden.

7. Assemble burgers by layering lettuce, tomato, and onion on the bottom bun. Add the burger patty, top with burger sauce, and place the top bun.

8. Serve immediately with fries, chips, or fresh salad.

Notes

For even cheesier burgers, add a slice of cheddar on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking.

To make ahead, form patties and refrigerate up to 24 hours before cooking.

For extra flavor, brush the patties with a little Worcestershire sauce before grilling.
