Description
This Crockpot Creamy Tortellini is a cozy, cheesy, hands-off dinner made with cheese tortellini, smoked turkey, spinach, and a rich, savory cream sauce. It’s the perfect set-it-and-forget-it comfort food.
Ingredients
20 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
2 cups smoked turkey, diced
2 cups fresh spinach
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
1. Lightly grease your slow cooker to prevent sticking.
2. In the crockpot, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and milk until well combined.
3. Add the diced smoked turkey, fresh spinach, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir everything together.
4. Add the cheese tortellini and gently submerge it into the sauce.
5. Cover and cook on LOW for 2 to 3 hours, or until the tortellini is tender and fully cooked.
6. Stir gently before serving. Add a sprinkle of extra Parmesan if you like it extra cheesy!
Notes
You can swap smoked turkey for diced cooked chicken, ham, or even cooked sausage.
To make it vegetarian, skip the meat and use vegetable broth.
Avoid overcooking the tortellini—they’re best just tender, not mushy.
