Ingredients
8 oz linguine
1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Cook linguine according to package directions (8–10 minutes), until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
4. Stir in chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
5. Add chopped parsley and cayenne pepper (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Toss in the cooked linguine and mix until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
7. Serve immediately while hot and buttery.
Notes
Use fresh or frozen (thawed) shrimp.
Swap linguine for spaghetti, fettuccine, or gluten-free pasta.
Add a splash of white wine to the sauce for extra flavor.
