Description

Ingredients

▢ 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

▢ 3 tablespoons butter

▢ 2 tablespoons olive oil

▢ 4 cloves garlic, minced

▢ ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

▢ ¼ cup chicken broth

▢ 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

▢ Salt and black pepper, to taste

▢ 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

1. In a large skillet, melt the butter with olive oil over medium heat.

2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 30 seconds, just until fragrant.

3. Add the shrimp to the pan in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

4. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice. Let it simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.

5. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.

6. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.

• Great served over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up that delicious sauce.

• For extra richness, swirl in a tablespoon of cold butter at the end.
