Description
Crispy chicken sliders with gooey cheese and a spooky Halloween twist — perfect for parties, kids, and fun October gatherings.
Ingredients
12 slider buns
12 breaded chicken tenders (fully cooked)
1 cup marinara sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
24 candy eyeballs or sliced black olives (for decoration)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Slice slider buns in half horizontally, keeping bottoms together.
3. Arrange chicken tenders evenly across bun bottoms.
4. Spoon marinara sauce evenly over chicken.
5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, then parmesan over the sauce.
6. Place bun tops back on and brush with melted butter.
7. Sprinkle Italian seasoning evenly over tops.
8. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
9. Remove foil and bake another 5–7 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
10. Add candy eyeballs or olive slices using a dab of marinara to “glue” them on.
11. Serve warm and enjoy your spooky sliders.
Notes
For a spicier adult version, add 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes to the marinara.
Make ahead: assemble up to 6 hours before, cover, refrigerate, and bake before serving.
