Ingredients
▢ 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
▢ 2 cups broccoli florets
▢ 1 red bell pepper, sliced
▢ 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
▢ 1 small onion, sliced
▢ 2 tablespoons avocado oil
▢ 2 cloves garlic, minced
▢ 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
▢ 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
▢ 1 teaspoon sesame oil
▢ ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Prep the broccoli, bell peppers, and onion into bite-sized pieces.
2. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
3. Add smoked sausage and sauté until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
4. Add the onion and cook for 3 more minutes, until softened.
5. Stir in the garlic and ginger, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
6. Add broccoli and bell peppers and stir-fry for another 5–7 minutes, until veggies are tender-crisp.
7. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring to coat everything evenly.
8. If using, sprinkle in red pepper flakes for heat.
