Description
This Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta is a light yet luxurious meal that comes together in under 30 minutes. It’s the perfect weeknight dinner—loaded with garlicky shrimp, bright lemon, and fresh parsley over a bed of tender linguine.
Ingredients
▢ 8 oz linguine
▢ 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
▢ 3 tablespoons butter
▢ 4 cloves garlic, minced
▢ ½ cup chicken broth
▢ Juice of 1 lemon
▢ ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
▢ ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
▢ Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
3. Add shrimp and cook 3–5 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque.
4. Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and optional red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.
5. Add drained linguine directly to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
6. Sprinkle in chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy this buttery, zesty shrimp pasta!
Notes
• Use fettuccine or spaghetti if linguine isn’t on hand.
• Add a handful of spinach or arugula for a veggie boost.
• For a dairy-free version, replace butter with olive oil.
