Description
Creepy-cute Marshmallow Rice Krispies (Bubbles) Halloween Brains — chewy, sweet, and perfect for parties, trick-or-treat snacks, or spooky kid-friendly fun.
Ingredients
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
10 ounces mini marshmallows (about 6 cups)
3–4 drops pink food coloring (or mix red + white until desired shade)
1/4 cup red decorating gel
Cooking spray or extra butter for greasing hands
Instructions
1. In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
2. Add marshmallows and stir constantly until melted and smooth.
3. Mix in pink food coloring until fully blended.
4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
5. Lightly grease your hands and shape mixture into small oval mounds (about the size of a large egg).
6. Press a shallow groove down the center of each mound to mimic brain folds.
7. Drizzle red decorating gel over each “brain” for veins.
8. Place on wax paper to set for 20–30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra fun, hide a gummy worm or eyeball inside before shaping the brains.
If mixture hardens before you’re done, warm it gently on the stove to soften again.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
