Apple Cinnamon Loaf

Warm, sweet, and filled with cozy fall flavor, this apple cinnamon loaf feels like a hug straight from the oven. Simple pantry staples and fresh apples come together without any fuss.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups apples peeled and diced
  • 1 apple thinly sliced (optional topping)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar optional topping
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon optional topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in another bowl.
  4. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing just until combined.
  5. Fold in diced apples.
  6. Pour batter into the pan, arrange apple slices on top, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Bake for 50–60 minutes until golden and set.

Notes

Store the loaf in the refrigerator for up to 3–5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Serve slices with coffee, tea, or a glass of milk for a cozy treat.
