BLT Baked Chicken Burgers

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 6 slices bacon cooked
  • lettuce for serving
  • tomato slices for serving
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/2 cup mayo or burger sauce
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the ground chicken with breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into patties and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake the patties for 18-20 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Toast the burger buns.
  6. Layer the buns with mayo or burger sauce, lettuce, chicken burgers, tomato slices, and crispy bacon.
  7. Serve warm with fries, chips, or preferred sides.

Notes

Store leftover chicken patties in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Serve these burgers with fries, chips, pasta salad, or a simple green salad for an easy family meal.
