Ingredients
  

  • 1 pre-made pie crust or shortbread crust
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • extra melted chocolate for drizzle

Method
 

  1. Bake the pie crust according to package directions if needed, then let it cool completely.
  2. Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture and spread evenly over the crust.
  4. Arrange the sliced strawberries over the cream layer.
  5. Heat the heavy cream until warm, pour over the chocolate chips, let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth to make ganache.
  6. Pour the chocolate ganache over the strawberries and spread gently to cover.
  7. Drizzle extra melted chocolate on top and refrigerate for 2–3 hours until set.

Notes

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Serve chilled with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a cup of coffee for a simple, satisfying dessert.
