Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken Pasta

Nothing beats a big bowl of creamy pasta when the day’s been long and everybody’s asking what’s for dinner. Simple pantry ingredients and a handful of easy steps make this one feel totally doable, even on those extra busy weeknights.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts diced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • red pepper flakes to taste
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook the penne pasta until tender, then drain and reserve a little pasta water.
  2. Sauté the diced chicken breasts in butter until golden and cooked through.
  3. Add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes to the skillet.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.
  5. Stir in the shredded parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Mix everything together and add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed.
  8. Top with parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days and reheat with a splash of water to help loosen the sauce. Serve with crusty bread or a simple green salad for a comforting family dinner.
