crispy honey garlic chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • oil for frying
  • sesame seeds for topping
  • parsley for topping

Method
 

  1. Coat the chicken pieces in beaten egg.
  2. Cover the chicken pieces in flour until fully coated.
  3. Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden, crispy, and cooked through.
  4. Simmer the honey, garlic, and soy sauce in a skillet for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Toss the crispy chicken into the sauce until fully coated.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and parsley before serving hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Serve with steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or a simple green salad for an easy comfort-food meal.
