Honey Garlic Baked Chicken Legs

Ingredients
  

  • 6 chicken legs
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • sesame seeds for topping
  • parsley for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Place the chicken legs in a baking dish.
  3. Mix the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, melted butter, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken legs.
  5. Coat the chicken well with the sauce.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes.
  7. Baste the chicken with the sauce halfway through baking.
  8. Bake until glossy and caramelized.
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and parsley before serving hot.

Notes

Store leftover chicken legs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Serve hot with steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables to soak up the extra honey garlic sauce.
