Method
- Season the chicken thighs with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through, then transfer to a plate.
- Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds.
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Add the cornstarch slurry if using and cook for another minute until thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over each piece until coated.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and sesame seeds and serve.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Serve over rice with vegetables like steamed broccoli for a complete meal.
